Also yes. Taking some advice from a pal of mine, Obsidian will have a permanent cosmetic change to where his lines are now gray instead of black. For better contrast.
(and if you are curious, artist here does actually own a pet. I have a 5 year old Tortie-and-white cat named Millie. :3 )

It took me AGES to draw this much for ONE post and ugh I wanted to just quit so many times BUT I DID NOT AND LOOK WHAT IS THE RESULT. (crappy I know. that’s what happens when you draw while half-asleep.)

So sorry for no update in awhile. I am drawing one ask that so far has had 4 drawings to it and e~e this is the most effort put out for this Tumblr that I have ever done.
Its taking me awhile BUT HOPEFULLY I HAVE MAYBE ONE OR TWO PANELS LEFT

Rule #1 of O.C. characters. Never EVERbe friends with a canon character. It instantly makes you look bad and unoriginal. Even the Discorded Whooves blog, http://askdiscordwhooves.tumblr.com/ has a sort of headcanon/canon character but is original to the point that he is written as a changed version of the original.
Obsidian here though, it a completely original character from the artist’s mind and therefore cannot be linked to any other character in the actual show. Pretty much the only similarities is that he is in MLP: FiM art style and that’s it.
But no his best friend is Strawberry Doodle and…. well. You’ll know later maybe if you want to . ;3

Top - Alrik, an OC of mine who is a Norse (Nordic?) king. I just love things of that such. He’s still a WIP because I am in the stage of coloring. (fur is hell). What really got me motivated for this was Lord of the Rings/ The Hobbit, Skyrim, and the potential of watching Game of Thrones but I have yet to do so… (don’t kill me please)
Middle left - a fancy guy in a tuxedo. I dunno. I love fancy things. Especially old, like Roaring ’20s style fancy. Tux tails on anyone makes them instantly attractive.
Middle right - I don’t even know. I was bored. I whipped out my tablet and drew this.
Bottom left - My current WIP, a rocking Hell horse. yeah. I don’t know. XD
Bottom middle- Ray Narvaez from Rooster Teeth/ Achievement Hunter. One of my favs of the boys. <3 I felt like drawing him so I did.
Bottom right- A study I started about two weeks ago where I go and draw my favorite breed of cervines, or deer/antelope. I began it with this, one of my favorites, a Gemsbok. I actually have a plush of one I got from a field trip to Fossil Rim. :3
Seriously why do you even follow this blog? Its nothing special. I’m not some amazing artist or famous or anything.
